Coming from a huge
fan of the Hollywood Studio’s Backlot tour, I am tremendously upset that Disney
has decided to do away with this attraction.
Many people have different feelings about this. Some believe that
another thrilling event will come while others are upset that they are doing
away with the ride. I feel that Disney never makes the event worse, so even
though the attraction is going to taken away, I believe that the rumored
expansion will be a step above what is currently there.
People from countries
all around the world have come to Hollywood studios to experience the magic and
thrill of the Backlot tour and no longer will be able to. Hopefully the new
expansion will attract even more onlookers. I might feel lost without the Backlot
tour just like Odysseus in the classic myth, The Odyssey, but knowing Disney I’ll be fine. The new expansion
will be great!

In some ways it feels like Disney is shutting down my childhood, but at the same time I'm super excited about the new rides and attractions. It like if all of the sudden some one told you they were getting rid of your turtle, but in exchange they're getting a new puppy. I'm not quite sure how I feel about it, but I look forward to trying all the new rides. I can't wait to learn some more about Disney.
ReplyDeleteWho knew that Disney would add more rides and expand the whole park! I really enjoy going to Disney World, it is a great experience to arrive in Kissimmee, Florida and in Orlando seeing the Disney signs appear before your eyes. The last time I went, which was last spring, when they were building the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Fantasy land. They are frequently build and expand on the popular parks, such as Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom , but never Hollywood studios. I am surprised that after all of these years they are finally updating a park other than Magic and Animal kingdom. The next time I go, I will check out the building process of The Odyssey!
ReplyDeleteAs a fellow "Disney Fanatic", I was disappointed when hearing about the situation. I loved the Hollywood studios. There are so many memories with my family and I there that it will be hard to let go. I am excited for the new attraction. Disney always knows how to attract a crowd with the latest and coolest venue. Though it will never be the same as Hollywood Studios, it will most definitely be fantastic!
